How you can help

". . . I wish to state that I wholeheartedly support this project and I encourage anyone with the means to aid in its completion—through the contribution of time, energy, or funds—to do so."

-Excerpted from a letter to the sangha from Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche.

If you are inspired by this project and wish to help, we welcome any contribution of time or money.

Volunteers are needed to

  • maintain and improve this website,
  • encourage people to contribute their recollections,
  • transcribe interviews,
  • help with fundraising, and
  • assist with general project administration.
  • Please contact the project administrators if you would like to offer your assistance.

    Funding

There are costs connected with maintaining this website as well as general office expenses. Additional funding would allow us to transcribe recorded interviews, add more features to the website, collect photographs and video tapes, and generally broaden the scope of the project.

The Chronicle Project as a whole will require significant resources. The generosity and support of the sangha will be needed for the project to go forward.

If you live in the United States or Canada, you can make a tax deductible donation directly to the Shambhala Archives, earmarked for the Chronicle Project. The cheque should be made out to Shambhala Archives with the memo, "for the Chronicle Project", and sent to:
