Video tour of Great Eastern Sun Exhibit

Posted Shambhala Day February 22, 2012

ChögyamTrungpa Legacy Project under the direction of Carolyn Gimian has mounted an exhibit entitled: GREAT EASTERN SUN: The Shambhala Community in Nova Scotia, at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. In this video, Carolyn takes us on a tour of the exhibit, which includes treasures and personal effects of Chogyam Trungpa, a large calligraphed "Mukpo," and much more. A public opening for the exhibit will take place on Thursday, Feb 23, at 5:30 pm. On Saturday the 25th, there will be a community-led tour of the exhibit. The video is available courtesy of Rod Meade Sperry, editor of web publications for the Shambhala Sun.

Here is further information about the exhibit from Megan Leslie, Member of Parliament for Halifax.
