Steve Gorn
Steve Gorn, long-time community member, is a composer, instrumentalist, and bansuri (classical Indian flute) master. For more information about his work and accomplishments, please visit SteveGorn.com.
Listen to Steve Gorn perform After Sanya, his own composition based on a traditional shakuhachi piece. Steve performed After Sanya for Trungpa Rinpoche in the Tenno room at the 1982 Vajradhatu Seminary in Bedford Springs, Pa.
Trungpa Rinpoche was very fond of traditional Japanese music, and the sounds of the shakuhachi were often an integral part of court ceremonies.
