Whoever sees this, please contact Stephen’s daughters. I am so sorry to learn that Steve (as I called him in 1963) has passed away. We met in 6th period art class at North Miami High School, where he always stayed late polishing a small white marble, resting lion that he had carved; I can still picture it. We became friends and I recall having deep conversations with him, probably about life’s meaning and death. Last week, my daughter was visiting and brought an old folder she found in a box of family paraphernalia. It contained several of my 1963 art class pen and ink drawings. Nestled in there were a few of Steve’s pen and ink drawings. An online search with AI found Steve, and the news of his recent passing. Perhaps his daughters would like to have these drawings. It would be my pleasure to send them. I also will try another way to contact his girls. I can be reached at AnneArmel@gmail.com
