Bob was my best friend from about 5 years old until his family moved from Demarest to Haworth. We lived around the corner from each other and had many small-fry adventures in the woods and with our friends & neighbors. And then we were happily acquainted through HS. I sent him anonymous birthday greetings for years; hoping that I would some day see him again.
