I was blessed to have him as my MI for about 25 years. He generously passed on everything he could about the Dharma. The most important transmission I received was John’s love for Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and his deep devotion to the Dharma. His love was so profound that I’ve had many dreams of Trungpa Rinpoche, and I regard him as my root guru without seeing him. John was a decent, uncompromisingly honest, and yet gentle human being. He is present everywhere in my mind and heart.
