I will dearly miss Cary's spirit of humor, inquiry and kindness. In the years of the late 80's and early 90's, we often managed to mix our devotion to Buddhist meditation, Chinese medicine, Daoist philosophy, music, literature, basketball, food, films,quirky adventure and endless delight in the irony of reality. Smiles were rampant! Cary had an innate sense and skill at seeing circumstances clearly while also holding compassionate space for whatever the emotional terrain might elicit. No doubt Cary journeys forward in love.... wearing a smiling smirk ready for the next chapter!
