I spoke to Paul by phone a few months ago. He was very kind to me after my husband, Ben’s, death and we kept in touch over the years — calling occasionally. We always spoke about the dharma, told jokes, and he inevitably gave me good advice about this or that. I am sad to learn of his death, but glad to have had the opportunity to know him.
