Paul was living at Karme Choling when i arrived there in the summer of 1976 . He appeared to be serious and i didn't talk much with him . Except one time when the chainsaw got stuck in a birchtree because i hadn't given power continuously he said something strict . Than i met him again in Boulder in 1978 where he started a landscapingcompany and because my check from my family didn't arrive i started working for him . He was a changed man . Talkative , warmhearted , like a brother . That continued and deepend as i worked for him . He even invited me for breakfast to Dots Diner . Huevos Rancheros . Engaging in conversation . I felt grounded and loved . Family . Because they called me the human backhow in those days i got a payraise of one Dollar . We styled a garden at the newly built Pearl St. townhouses . . Many years later we where in contact about green tea ointment which Paul had found out worked against warts . I was happy for his success . I told him that St John's wort oil also works . I am surprised about his sudden death . I wish you a good ascent Paul and am holding you in loving memory .
