David Rome served for many years as Trungpa Rinpoche’s personal secretary, and as one of his first English language editors. When Rinpoche’s poetry was read aloud in public venues or small gatherings, it was more often than not, David who was called upon to read. For the hundreds of students who heard these readings, David Rome is the voice of Trungpa Rinpoche’s poetry.
