I had the immense good fortune, in 2019, to be welcomed for a few days by Jack-san and Hiromi-san - both courageous warriors - in their very special house. They were days of lively exchanges, great food, and sweetness. I learned so much from being with both of them, and from being a fly-on-the-wall during several tea classes, presided by Jack with great skill and humour, and graced with Hiromi's steadiness and warmth. Go well, dear Jack. You have a special place in the hearts of all us whom you touched and taught.
