John was indeed a brilliant and indispensable early student of the Vidyadhara. I am glad to hear his passing was gentle and at home surrounded by loved ones. My heart goes out especially to Cara, Vajra, Sabrina, and Winston--the next generation! May they follow in their father's/uncle's footsteps and be of benefit. As the Sufi poet Rumi said about his own death: "When we are dead, seek not our tomb in the earth/ But find it in the hearts of men."
