Such a loving and loyal friend through the years, such rollickingly fine times together -- with shining eyes periodically reminding us all of her Rinpoche-given name, Dixie Dayton -- her kindly, earthy, playful spirit so strong that even though we haven't seen each other for some time, her passing was as if a live-in friend had gone.
