I met Thrangu Rinpoche twice, in Vienna and in Crestone just some years ago. His passing caused a sadness that is not only explicable by these brief interactions. I guess it is because he was a bridge to the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Khenpo Gangshar. Now ever more we feel the burden of carrying these unique teachings on our own.
