Unfortunately, because of my dementia, I am probably not going to remember many of the most poignent and inciteful times that Ron and I had together over a few years. (And I am a little late in writing this contribution. Nevertheless,I felt that Ron and I were truely brothers in the best sense of the term. And, yes, there was a bit of drinking over time but that was surely never the main issue. Because we each went to a military academy (Ron to West Point and me to Air Force Academy), I think we had a particular common understanding and bond based on that. And, as good friends sometimes do, we could be a little hard on each other. But that never got out of hand and we always maintained respect for each other. Layth was in on many of our long standing Saturday morning breakfast feasts at a couple of restaurants in Halifax. That was surely a bonding experience for the 3 of us over a few years. So, Ron, I miss you terribly, Brother. But I don't worry about you. You are strong and you had the best teachers. May we meet again, aspiciously basking in the radience of the Guru!! Love, Ted
