David Wilde met Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche in Delhi in late 1968 or early 1969. During that time David received Sadhana of Mahamudra Abhisheka from Rinpoche, an abhisheka that he performed only a very few times during his life. He returned to North America in 1970, became an early student at Tail of the Tiger, and has been a dedicated member of the community for over forty years. He currently lives near Karme Chöling.
