Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche was born in Nepal in 1975, and studied with his father, Tulku Urgyen and other great masters. Rinpoche teaches actively in the West and is known for his ability to convey the Buddhist teachings clearly and skillfully. One of his current projects is the establishment of Tergar Institute in Bodhgaya, India, an international center for traditional Karma Kagyu study and practice.
