The 11th Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche was one of the most important Kagyu teachers of the 20th century. He was a pioneer in bringing the precious Buddhadharma to the West and in particular the United States. He was very close to His Holiness the 16th Karmapa and offered the very first invitation to His Holiness Karmapa to visit the West. For this I am very grateful.
