Renowned teacher of the Drukpa Kagyu and Nyingma traditions, Tsoknyi Rinpoche received his early training from many great masters, including Khamtrul Rinpoche, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, and his father Tulku Urygen. He is the abbot of two nunneries in Nepal, and 55 nunneries and monasteries in Tibet. In addition, his worldwide teaching activities and the publication of his books, Carefree Dignity,Fearless Simplicity, and Open Heart, Open Mind, have inspired and magnetized many students in the West.
