March 13 is the beginning of Daylight Saving Time in North America. Please remember to set your clocks forward one hour. The clocks don’t change in Europe until March 27. Please check your local time zones to follow the Milarepa Day schedule.
The Rain of Wisdom
We will read about 200 pages of the Rain of Wisdom, including songs by Tilopa, Marpa, Milarepa, Gampopa, Mikyo Dorje, Lodro Thaye, Rikpe Dorje, Chogyam Trungpa and others. The text of each song will be displayed on your screen.
Special Guest
From 2:30 to 3:00, Andrew Quintman will be giving a multimedia talk on Milarepa, his life and places. Quintman is a Tibetan Buddhist scholar, associate professor at Wesleyan University, and the author of The Yogin and the Madman, The Life of Milarepa, and Himalayan Passages.
