Chris attended the 1986 Seminary at RMDC and then returned to Gampo Abbey, where she was a staff member until late 1989. After leaving the Abbey she moved to Japan where she studied tea for eleven years and served as co-coordinator of the Kyoto Dharma Study group. She now lives in Australia.
