Bob passed peacefully on September 2, 2026 after a short, unexpected few weeks of illness.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Sukhavati on Saturday, September 5 at 1:00 pm in the afternoon at the Halifax Shambhala Centre. Meditation practice will be open from 9 pm on Friday, September 4 until the Sukavati on Saturday, in the Halifax Shambhala Centre Main Shrine Room.
As this is a hybrid event, the funeral service will begin on time in-person and online.

Bob, a life in the dharma so well lived. We owe you - and Shari - a great debt for your lifetime of dedication and service to our teacher, his legacy and our whole community. Your smiling grin, steady and kind presence will be sorely missed.

I knew Bob and Shari at Tail of the Tiger in the old days. They were both
sterling people, kind and unassuming. They became Rinpoche’s attendants, and I was a little jealous. Farewell, and auspicious journey, my friend!
